U.S. Congressional candidate Blake Masters (R-AZ-8) issued the following statement today in response to a Tucson Standard report on the number of crimes and arrests of illegal immigrants in the area during April 2024:
“It was true when President Trump said it 8 years ago: ‘they’re not sending their best.’ Not every illegal alien commits crimes behind their immigration crime, but plenty do — and that’s only increasing."
"How many more rapes, carjackings, assaults and murders do innocent Americans need to suffer before the Democrats start to care about border security? Stopping illegal immigration must be our top priority, and when I’m in Congress and Trump is back in the White House, it will be.”
Blake is a Conservative, America First Republican running to represent Arizona’s 8th Congressional District.
A father, husband, entrepreneur and bestselling author, Blake was endorsed by President Donald Trump in his 2022 race for U.S. Senate.
Blake grew up and attended high school in Arizona before graduating from Stanford University and Stanford Law School. He and his wife, Catherine, have four sons.
